Move to heal — have you ever thought about it?
How exactly do you explain to someone in this world that you're not really managing to get back to routine, that a few things just aren't quite the way they used to be, that you can't sleep at night even though you're exhausted. You're not as eager to go out as you once were. And so many thoughts that won't give you a moment's quiet.
So what do you do? How do you begin to return to a healthy routine?
A word about therapeutic running. We all know that when we run, our body releases hormones that make us feel good. Running therapy focuses on emotional processes, with the running itself as a supporting tool. The work moves from the inside out. Therapeutic running is free of competitiveness — you're not looking at anyone else, but learning to turn your attention inward, to the self, making room for the thoughts and feelings that arise.
And then the magic happens. The physical practice releases endorphins and lets emotional processes unfold naturally. After a short run you'll feel better — the foggy thoughts recede, and a general sense of clarity and flow is there for every participant. Come run with us.
