Supportive Phone Buddy

Trauma harms our trust and sense of security in the world and in other people — and there, through the restoring of trust, lies also the possibility of healing.
Traumatic events cause damage (among other things) to the relationships between people, and so people, in turn, have the power to make a difference.
Social support can weaken the imprint that trauma leaves. A person who has experienced trauma is gripped by dread of being left alone, and yearns for the simple presence of
someone who cares.
A friend.
Someone who's there with you.
Trauma harms, first and foremost, our bonds and our trust in the world. This project's purpose is to restore trust and simple closeness between people — creating friendships whose whole point is the feeling of togetherness.
